Life is like a box of chocolates. Chocolates has always been served in various event celebration and weddings. And to discover chocolate in all its forms, the famous Chocolate Fashion Show event just recently presented a sweet and stunning collection of chocolate dresses in New York and Paris. Their gowns were delicious in so many ways as the models do the chocolate catwalk.
NEW YORK
The 14TH NEW YORK CHOCOLATE SHOW that was celebrated every year just happened last November 10 – 13 at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City. The Chocolate Event was recognized as the world’s largest event centered on chocolate in which the most breath-taking Broadway-themed fashion show just lately started. Musicals like Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, and The Lion King were all sources of creative inspiration. Fashion designers Lizzy Gardiner, Althea Harper, and William Ivey Long as well as pastry chefs Flex Mussels’ Zac Young and Chocolaterie Maya’s Joelle Mahoney all joined together to design extremely inspired costumes that elevated the chocolate bar.
The edible fashion show presentation was a success with food industry experts, chocolate lovers, and shutterbug photographers who are excited to capture the event as it unfold. The event actually began in Paris but you’ll now come across Chocolate Shows in Tokyo, Shanghai, Moscow, Peking and just recently in New York.
