Artist Nick Gentry of London made use of recycled floppy disk media with these portrait artworks that is currently on show at the Whisper Gallery behind Oxford Street in Central London. He has been commissioned by Selfridges for these portraits using floppy disk and VHS tapes as his canvas that will be presented at the Selfridges Technology Hall next month.
Central St. Martin graduate Nick Gentry is creating a powerful statement about the changing technology with these obsolete media showing the extent of the changes and how fast it is taking place today, yet brought to life through his remarkable paintings.
