London-based photographer Stephen Gill bought 9,000 negatives on eBay two years ago. He was hoping that those negatives from the 1950s recorded the London’s dazzling street life. And surprisingly, instead, he discovered that those negatives were East Enders kissing wedding photos wherein the unidentified photographer captured those photos in amazing detail using a premium quality medium-format camera. Below are the wedding photographs taken from the book “HACKNEY KISSES” to be published later this year.

Great archival photography of weddings! – Its change so much since than considering the technology – the human feelings stay the same!
I’m impressed with the photos and can’t help but feel nostalgic about the good old days of photography. So much has changed already on this digital age.
